• Built a deliberately vulnerable IoT environment based on the OWASP IoT Top 10 (2018), designed to simulate real-world security flaws in connected devices.
• Packaged the lab as a downloadable VMware image to provide a legal, hands-on testing environment for security professionals, students, and educators.
• Incorporated additional concepts from OWASP’s 2014 list to expand coverage and realism.
• Designed the platform for use in classrooms and training sessions to aid understanding of IoT security fundamentals.

• I had the unique opportunity as a freshman to design and take on a tailored role as a Security Penetration Tester and Auditor. This position was created specifically for me after I identified and reported several critical vulnerabilities to the dean, who then personally invited me to contribute to the university’s cybersecurity efforts.
• In collaboration with Deloitte, our annual security audit vendor, I conducted primary security assessments for university systems and applications. My role involved performing penetration tests, identifying and mitigating security risks, and working closely with faculty members to enhance and secure in-house university portals and applications.

• Spearheaded security audits of critical university infrastructure.
• Identified and reported multiple vulnerabilities, leading to immediate improvements.
• Collaborated with professors and departments to strengthen in-house applications.

• This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of security testing, vulnerability management, and collaborative problem-solving, setting the foundation for my future in cybersecurity.

• Collaborated remotely with Helen Lee, CEO & CTO of a Healthcare Startup funded by Google at Google StartUp Open Area, London at a Hackathon.
• We worked on Connected Vehicles, Safety, and Business Models. The project was - Ambulance with connected and autonomous services, with drone to deal with emergency. I especially worked on the drone technology.
• Developed the transmission protocol of the drone by using Raspberry Pi, GSM Board. Also developed a chat-bot by incorporating api.ai and an Node.js Backend, to simulate the nurse conversation and an AR System to demonstrate that the drone has been called to tackle patient with heart-attack. (for presentation purposes)
• Final presentation & business plan proposal were handled by Helen Lee.
