About

I love making things! That's what drew me to software development - I get a thrill out of building something new that can make a difference to someone's business. I'm fortunate to have had a diverse career that's allowed me to develop skills in infrastructure, strategic and governance consulting, and management. These give me a unique perspective that lets me build links between different parts of a project team - from Product Owners to Developers - and create new ways of seeing problems that lead to better solutions and better business outcomes. I get just as much of a thrill out of sharing what I know. Whether through co-hosting my podcast, "The Beer Driven Devs," my YouTube channel, or writing a book on .NET MAUI, I do it because I love it. I find it exciting to help others grow, and I enjoy being a part of the community. I'm particularly fond of mobile apps and projects that support not-for-profits or have a positive social or community impact.
