I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at Indian Institute of Information Technology Una, Himachal Pradesh. My research work centers around ensemble machine learning and healthcare analytics. In another stream of research, I look at innovation and how AI technologies can be utilized for improving the healthcare facilities for women in the country. I believe that teaching is a pleasure and learning is a joy. I love teaching young fellows with fun and teach youngsters to love learning. I prefer interactive sessions and pride myself on translating difficult topics in Computer Science Engineering where my students can derive valuable lessons and takeaways, regardless of their academic background of technical skills. Prior to joining IIIT Una which is an institute of National Importance, I also worked as Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator at Chandigarh University. I earned my doctorate degree from Thapar University, Patiala working as Senior Research Fellow in the Research Project of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. I qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2012 and did my MTech in Software Engineering from Thapar University. I love testing software and I am also an ISTQB Certified Software Tester.
