• According to the World Health Organisation, annually 55,000 women die in India due to pregnancy-related causes. High-risk pregnancies significantly contribute to maternal deaths. Approximately 80% of these maternal deaths are preventable provided the right care is delivered at the right time. Reducing maternal mortality is not just a national issue but a global priority.
• There have been instances where the women with risk symptoms are missed due to a lack of a structured process of high-risk identification, which eventually leads to complications causing maternal deaths.
• To address this issue we have come up with a solution named MAATRITVA.
