I currently lead the finance division as VP of Finance at South Park Commons, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Before this, I spent several years as a Senior Manager in financial services audit, specializing in asset management under US GAAP and IFRS with a focus on PE and VC. My career with EY began in Mumbai, covering Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods, and later took me to the Cayman Islands, where I focused on hedge funds and private equity across the Americas, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia. I also served as a Board Member with the CFA Society of the Cayman Islands, deepening my commitment to client service and community. Growing up in an Indian Army household and living in 15+ places has shaped me with strong ethical values, adaptability, and an appreciation for diverse cultures. Unlike their western counterparts, these companies operate in an environment of significant resource constraints, underdeveloped business ecosystems, and challenging political regime. Yet, they have managed to pursue a trajectory of sustainable growth through novel modes of innovation and ecosystem orchestration. This course will provide students with a real-time exposure into the evolutionary process of enterprise growth through management of innovation and ecosystems in India. Students will get a rare opportunity to interact first-hand with founders, executives, and policymakers who are contributing to and driving economic growth “The India Way”!
The course will include a combination of site-visits and expert panels in the National Capital Region (NCR), encompassing Delhi and the surrounding region.
