From courtroom to cybersecurity, my career has been a journey through layers of protection, compliance, and trust. Hi, I am Dharita Gada. I have worked as a trainer, auditor, compliance consultant, information security officer, legal advisor, and now the founder of @DataSentry, a consulting company founded out of passion and purpose. I picked up the language of contracts, rules, and risk in the legal corridors. Soon enough, I became drawn to something more profound: the difficulty of safeguarding data in the digital age, assisting organizations in interpreting regulations, and confidently taking ownership of their duties. My profession brought me into the field of Information Security, first as a corporate officer and later as a self-employed consultant who helped companies in various industries navigate risk management frameworks, ISO certifications, and data privacy laws. DataSentry emerged shortly after the work outgrew the solo approach. But beyond the titles and timelines, what motivates me is my belief that trust is the real currency of business, and establishing it calls for transparency, adherence to regulations, and a dedication to doing things correctly. That is the core of my work, whether I am developing a compliance roadmap, auditing a system, or training a team.
