Aashna Shroff — Co-Founder
I’m a former software engineer interested in applying tech to solve large problems. I got into education by chance and stayed in it because I found large problems to be solved and a strong sense of fulfillment that came from working on it. In 2013-17 (undergrad), started Girls Code Camp to introduce coding to 1200 young women in India. In 2017-18 (masters), built ‘domino’, a free mobile platform for computational tinkering for kids that turns your phone into an arduino that was implemented in schools in India and Brazil. In 2018-21, worked as chief-of-staff for Better by Design and launched their online courses, education games, and online community for kids I spent the past year exploring b2b edtech talking to 100s of school leaders during COVID: built a in-class differentiated learning product and a homework solution; more recently exploring a community-platform for learning to re-design how schools / colleges run and manage their online communities.
