When I was a kid, I wanted to be an inventor. Later on, I tried to be a rockstar, a writer, a professional snowboarder. But I was too geeky for all this, so I decided it was better to keep studying electronic engineering. I became really passionate about software development and anything that was related to digital image and video processing. After realizing how important is photo and video evidence, in 2008, I founded Amped Software. Nowadays, our tools are the standard for multimedia forensics for public safety and national security in over 100 countries worldwide. I am currently developing Amped Software with three main priorities: offering the best possible support to our users, creating an excellent place to work, and bringing our little contribution to a better world with our vision of “justice through science.” Nowadays, I dedicate a lot of my time to raising public awareness about the correct use of video evidence in relation to security and justice. In my free time, I still try to be a decent snowboarder and mountain biker, and a bit better husband and dad.
