About

I have over 15 years of experience in product management, with a focus on consumer devices and emerging technologies. I currently lead the product management team for AI Glasses (Wearables) at Meta. Previously, I led product at a number of early to mid-stage startups, including co-founding Orange Chef, a smart kitchen appliance startup that was acquired by Yummly. I also advised various startups on product and company strategy, typically in the domains of IoT, food tech, digital health, and mobile. My passion is bridging the physical world we live in with the digital one we rely on, with the result being products that improve everyday lives.

  • Led overall product strategy and directly managed a cross-functional team of 20 -- including product managers, designers, content creators, and growth marketers for the Innit platform.
  • Innit set out to become the “operating system” for the kitchen, stitching together the fragmentation that exists across the entire consumer meal journey — into a platform that seamlessly fits into the lives of consumers. We built a market-leading platform from the ground up, enabling personalized & customizable meals, integrated food delivery, guided assistance, and deep support for connected appliances. Our work resulted in being 2019 CES Innovation Award honoree — and was featured globally by partners like Google, Electrolux, GE Appliances, and countless others.

Orange chef (acquired by yummly)

Co-Founder | Head of Product

May 2013Dec 2015 · 2 yrs 7 mos · San Francisco, CA

  • Led overall product strategy & product development, directly managing a cross-functional team of product managers, hardware & software engineers, and designers. Also supported fundraising & partnerships.
  • With a deep passion for health & food, our founding team re-imagined how technology could bring simplicity and transparency to consumers when preparing food at home. Our flagship product, Prep Pad, was a smart kitchen scale that brought a simplified visualization of nutritional information in real time. In addition to having been amongst the first wave of IoT products nationally distributed at stores including William-Sonoma, Brookstone & Apple Stores, the product received national awards for its industrial design, user experience & innovative approach. The connected kitchen vision that was established by Orange Chef would pave the way for the “smart kitchen” industry — driving substantial changes within legacy appliance companies and spawning a wave of new startups tackling various parts of the ecosystem.

Lytro inc.

Product Manager

Feb 2012Mar 2013 · 1 yr 1 mo · Mountain View, CA

  • Hired as the first hardware product manager, driving product experience for the flagship Lytro camera, which included owning new product features (hardware, software, mobile, accessories), product roadmap strategy, and i18n.
  • Lytro’s breakthrough technology enabled seemingly “impossible” features to be brought to consumer cameras, allowing captured photos to be refocused after the fact via computational processing. Lytro was ahead of its time in many ways — with the rapid growth and sophistication of mobile phones with high-quality cameras driving down the consumer demand for dedicated point-and-shoot cameras. Many of the image-processing magic that originated at Lytro has served as a blueprint for features on Apple & Google phones today.
