Shumin Ong — Technical Program Manager
I jumped into the advertising industry right after graduation, and spent many years running digital campaign operations. Eventually I realised operations was not what I wanted to do, so I took a career break to pursue more creative roles and personal projects (I was already freelance illustrating and teaching on the side!). That “break” was one of the best decisions I made, because I ended up in the Google Marketing team :) 5 years on, I've had the privilege to transfer internally from Singapore to London, landing myself a global role in the Google Users & Products team managing content quality and operations! I'm excited to continue dwelling in the space of communications and content, especially as AI brings on a paradigm shift for the industry. 👀🇬🇧 My illustration portfolio: www.shumino.space Add me on IG: www.instagram.com/shugarpeaa
