Uses EmpowHR, NFC Mainframe, Web52, Reporting center and other software programs to process and track personnel actions such as: promotions, within grade increases (WGI), service date extensions, terminations, start/stop union dues, allotments, address changes, claims for reimbursements, name changes and processing of temporary appointments. Calculates and processes lump sum payment amounts for departing employees with positive annual leave balances, tallies payouts for fiscal year budgeting purposes; uses common math and intermediate excel skills. Used Spanish speaking abilities to volunteer and deploy on very short-notice to Puerto Rico in agency for Hurricane Maria relief operations. Communicated with the members of the general public on behalf of the organization. Provided information and resource materials associated with the processes, procedures, and policies in order to receive emergency monetary relief efforts. Worked directly with OPM to implement the newly dispatched Dairy Assistance Program-PR.
