• Rebuilt editor search frontend in the Canva 2.0 stack (Typescript, React, MobX).
• Designed and built first Content Apps to seamlessly add content from your favourite tools into the Canva editor (Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive, Dropbox, YouTube).
• Launched Canva’s developer platform, led the team behind our Developer Portal and Apps Directory.
• Grew the "Canva for Education" product from 30k to millions of MAUs. Built an engineering team around the product and worked with large school districts to allow seamless sign-in for teachers and students around the world.
• Finished up my time at Canva working on the collaboration experience, responsible primarily for the Canva editor commenting and real-time features. Our team supported the launch of Canva Whiteboard and Canva Docs.

• Full-stack engineer responsible for taking an online real-estate platform to launch. Backend written in Java and hosted on Google App Engine, Frontend is a Single Page App written in Angular.
• Transformed an ES5/AngularJS/Grunt agency built MVP to a Typescript/Angular/Webpack running platform, with server side rendering performed by a NodeJS service.
• Worked closely with Marketing, Sales and Support to respond to feedback and iterate quickly while getting the business off the ground. Ran an internal podcast with leaders from different functions of the business.

• Confluence Platform team. Worked on the CQL SPI, which allows new fields to be added and queried via the CQL REST API.
• Extended the Confluence Connect API to allow plugin creators the ability to customise the macro property panel.
• While working with the Confluence Developer Platform team. Built a NodeJS microservice to monitor build times, optimised maven builds run locally and in Bamboo to increase development velocity.
• In the Confluence Activate team, ran a series of A/B tests to determine a winning optimisation of the onboarding flow. Implemented a NodeJS service to populate new Confluence provisions with demo data required for an improved onboarding experience.

• Ran the 2014 Freelancer Scavenger Hunt. Python Flask codebase, Backbone frontend.
• Worked on the mobile site m.freelancer.com, green fields project written in AngularJS, using Grunt, Bower and Npm.
• Built the required API endpoints to service the mobile site using the Thrift protocol to communicate between a Python REST service and legacy PHP backend.
