• At the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command / Maritime Systems Division, I served as the technical manager for six Navy vessels, responsible for ensuring their operational performance, maintenance, annual work planning, docking schedules, vessel development, and resource planning, utilizing SAP-based information systems.
• My responsibilities also included materials performance design and providing technical expertise in ship construction. As both a technical project manager and subject matter expert, I was actively involved in development projects throughout sourcing, design, pre-planning, and planning phases. I also independently managed the procurement of specialized systems to support vessel capability development.

• As First Engineer Officer, I served as the second most senior engineering officer on board, holding an STCW95 Chief Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency. I was responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of the ship’s machinery and systems, overseeing engine room activities, and ensuring machinery operations followed the standards set by the Chief Engineer.
• I acted as the First Deputy Engineer Officer and led electrical operations specifically on Katanpää-class vessels. My role included nationwide supervision of electrical work in accordance with general regulations as well as the specific regulations of the Finnish Defence Forces.
• This position required strong legal and technical knowledge related to onboard electrical systems. I ensured that all electrical work was performed safely and in full compliance with occupational safety standards and applicable regulations.

• In this role, I also supervised, trained, and guided personnel in machinery operations, conducted oil spill response and environmental protection procedures, and managed ongoing maintenance activities within my designated sector.
• Additionally, I served as a Project Engineer for the ship class, overseeing factory and acceptance testing, reviewing technical documentation, and collaborating directly with the shipyard throughout the project lifecycle.
