Hi 🤝, my name is Renaldo Myrselaj. I am a passionate Interventional Angiologist, and share weekly, real life cases and practical content for endovascular interventionists every 🗓️ 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐓. From a young age, I dreamed of helping others through medicine. After completing my medical studies in Albania, I moved to Germany in 2011 for greater professional growth—learning German in just five months with a small group of peers (it was wild but worth it 😅). Initially aiming for interventional cardiology, a chance conversation introduced me to interventional angiology, a newer field that quickly became my passion. To learn it the best way, I moved again, and became part of the team of Prof. Dr. Dierk Scheinert and was lucky to learn from one of the best interventionalists worldwide, Prof. Dr. Andrej Schmidt (a great mentor and humble person). It was the most important decade of my career. Learning in a high-volume center, mostly complex cases and being part of the world’s leading congress on endovascular interventions (LINC) was a great experience and accelerated my growth. In June 2024, I moved on my own journey, to improve the endovascular field in another hospital, to help people (colleagues and patients) and grow outside the comfort zone. In June 2023, I accidentally rediscovered LinkedIn (I had an account for 12 years and had only 5 contacts but I had forgotten that it existed 😅). Since early 2024, I have been posting regularly, sharing my experience, and learn from other peers, and met some great people on this journey. In my opinion and from my own experience, growth includes both professional mastery and personal development. Despite facing significant challenges in both, I committed to self-improvement—investing time, energy, and resources in learning and mentorship from top coaches.
