• Google Meet Devices - Health and Telemetry (Lead). I build systems that allow us to monitor and evaluate the performance of Google Meet Hardware. This involves building full-stack solutions for telemetry from OS-level changes to backend processing pipelines. My systems process hundreds of terabytes a day and allow us to know in realtime how our devices are performing.

• Tog, an Area 120 Startup (Co-Founder & Tech Lead): Co-founded Tog (togalong.com), a startup within Google’s internal incubator, Area 120. Tog is a travel recommendation service where users can collect & organize recommendations from their friends and popular publications, with a deep integration into Google Maps. Fastest launch of a globally available web service in the incubator’s 4 year history.
• Rapid Prototyping Team for Android & Research (Lead): Built proof-of-concept and initial prototypes for marquee Android features including Smart Text Selection and Digital Wellbeing. All prototypes involved on-device ML for a privacy-first approach. Co-led an experimental embedded hardware project involving on-device machine learning for real-time human/AI collaboration, involving 20+ engineers.
• Data Analysis & ML Research for G Suite Editors (Tech Lead): Pitched, founded, and lead a team of five engineers to perform data analysis, ML prototyping, and ML integration for the G Suite Editors (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Jamboard, Sites). Designed and implemented petabyte-scale pipelines, requiring integration and coordination across the individual G Suite editor teams

• Built data analysis features for Google Sheets, including a table detection algorithm to understand the underlying structure of data in spreadsheets. This algorithm is used in Sheets Explore features including Natural Language Answers, Pivot Table Suggestions, Chart Suggestion, and Formatting Suggestions.
