About

I am a global product management leader with over 20 years of experience driving innovation and growth in the tech industry . My career has spanned enterprise software, cloud services, DevSecOps &; Embeded solutions, where I’ve built and launched products from ground up that have scaled beyond Million Dollar ARR. Currently, as Vice President of Product Management at Progress, I lead strategy and development for the Chef product line, guiding cross-functional teams worldwide to deliver DevOps and cloud automation tools that empower Fortune 500 enterprises and agile startups alike. At Progress, I steered the post-acquisition integration of Chef – help build a 200-member organization in Bangalore and cultivating a product-focused culture helping Progress execute Total Growth Strategy adding ~16% inorganic revenue through M&A. I champion data-driven product strategy, identifying portfolio gaps through customer conversations, customer and competitive insights, and secured C-level buy-in to launch new offerings. This led to multiple successful product launches – for example, Fiddler Everywhere, Chef SaaS & Chef Courier, while sunsetting less viable products to focus on what drives value. I also spearheaded strategic partnerships with AWS and Azure to tap into cloud marketplace ecosystems, accelerating go-to-market and providing a migration path for AWS OpsWorks users onto our SaaS platform. As a technology thought leader, I try to stay at forefront of industry trends. I’ve helped pivot our product strategy from traditional Infrastructure-as-Code to a Policy-as-Code approach, fostering deeper adoption in the DevSecOps community & recognition in Analyst ecosystem. I’m passionate about emerging paradigms like Platform Engineering and “ClickOps” that democratize DevOps, as well as the integration of AI in DevOps to boost productivity and security . I regularly share insights on these topics in industry forums and publications – contributing articles on DevOps and cloud innovation (e.g., DevOps.com, Financial Express, Techstrong TV) and speaking at events and webinars.I pride myself on being a growth catalyst and team builder. I’ve led teams ranging from startup-sized pods to global departments, mentoring professionals across product, engineering, UX, and marketing. Together we’ve delivered results through agility, and a culture of continuous improvement. As we enter an era of AI-driven and cloud-native software, I’m excited to continue transforming bold ideas into scalable products that drive tangible business outcomes.
