Aditya Joshi is the Head of India for Brookfield Asset Management, overseeing business activities in the region. He is also a Managing Partner and the Head of the Private Equity business for the Asia-Pacific region across India, China, Australia and the Middle East, responsible for deal sourcing and execution, as well as portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2019, Mr. Joshi was a principal at a global private equity firm where he was involved in deals in the healthcare, technology services and financial services sectors. Previously, he worked at another global private equity firm covering technology and business services, and at a global investment bank focusing on fundraising and mergers and acquisitions across various industries. Mr. Joshi holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pune. He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a member of FICCI’s National Committee on Private Equity for India.
