Understanding driver behaviour with reference to safety, of the driver and fellow travelers is of interest to me. This is exciting because it opens opportunities to do safety assessment of autonomous driving agents. As part of this work, I work on event detection and classification on data from an Internet enabled device sitting inside the car such as a OBD Dongle.
