By day, I'm a software engineer crafting digital solutions. By night, I'm a photographer exploring Japan's hidden gems. My adventures have attracted over 40k followers who join me in discovering Japan's secrets through offbeatjapan.org and japonsecret.fr. My tech journey has been quite the ride. I started as a backend developer in the finance industry, deep in the world of C and C++. Then I became a .NET specialist, mastering WCF, WPF & ASP.NET MVC. But my passion for art and beautiful solutions pulled me in a new direction - I switched to designing systems and creating modern user interfaces with React, Node.js, MongoDB, and other cool tech. I love making applications that are not just useful, but also pretty and smart. In 2012, I launched what would become a series of popular WordPress plugins: WP Retina 2x, Media File Renamer, Media Cleaner, and WP/LR Sync. These plugins are still going strong in 2025! Then in 2017, I added Meow Gallery and Meow Lightbox to the family, aiming to create the perfect solution for photographers using WordPress and Lightroom. Around the same time, I dove into building modern platforms with startups and creating my own SaaS solutions. 2018 was a big year - I launched two new platforms: Jipangu (jipangu.fr) and Ikuzo (ikuzo.app). While growing my WordPress business, I also found some time to write books about Japan and urban exploration. Late 2022 brought another exciting challenge - I released my first AI plugin for WordPress. After a year of intense work, it hit #1! And by 2024, Meow Apps had grown to serve over a million users.
