• Created QA team with mixture of automation and manual testers. Created several proposals for QA testing approaches to API, UI, Mobile Applications, and Firmware. Executed on the API testing proposal to completion and consulted on QA work for Mobile Applications and Firmware based on the proposal and availability of resources. Acted as a voice for quality at Jiobit and mentored other QA professionals to share that voice as well.

• First QA hire at Forager. Engaged in greenfield QA development, established a culture of quality, and pioneered QA processes. Designed and created a Cypress/Javascript automation test suite for several workflows on the flagship product. Wrote extensive documentation on how the Cypress/Javascript automation test suite worked and coached fellow engineers on how to work on the automation tests. Found and reported several long-standing bugs and quality issues.

• Continued to do my standard duties of fulfilling manual and automation QA/test needs and expectations for our flagship product at DRIVIN. Consulted developers on unit testing and integration testing practices. Designed test strategies to tackle large or complicated features and efforts. Wrote extensive documentation on how our flagship product is to be regression tested for pre-launch testing. Built a QA team by being the key factor in the hiring process for our second QA Automation Engineer. Coached and on-boarded the new QA Automation Engineer who is performing excellently. Pushed a culture of quality by slowly coaching developers and testers on quality coding and testing for quality. Trained developers in how they can do regression testing. Worked with Data Engineering to ensure there are no data quality issues and reported any issues that surfaced. Built and maintained many nightly test automation jobs and reported on errors whenever they surfaced. Maintained productive relationships with fellow colleagues. Kept proactive to ensure each team has their QA expectations and needs met. Attended leadership training workshops which assisted my communication skills as a leader.

• As the solo QA guy here at this fast paced recently acquired startup, my responsibilities include driving a culture of quality across the organization, supporting all development teams by overseeing the software development process from start to finish, supporting all JIRA stories and releases by manual testing and catching bugs and reporting them in a timely fashion, and also support all products by writing automated test suites in Java and using Jenkins CI architecture to run nightly or on-push functional and regression E2E tests.

• Continued to design and develop fully automated tests to test newly developed products at TR and deliver test reports once tests had failures. Frequently developed core modules for said products at TR and educated others on how to create automated tests.
• Collaborated with other testers to prioritize and perfect test use cases. Drove testing strategy across the organization with meetings, presentations, and so on in order to increase quality testing and prevent future quality issues.
• Took on a QA Lead role for a month to help recover another failing project to great success and continued leadership afterwards on future teams for a total period of around 1 year.

• 6 month internship.
• Worked on a corporate enterprise API to a great extent. This position was exclusively back-end programming to add or edit functionality to the API as well as writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Significant projects include: 1) Delivered a segmentation of the API so we can share the API between multiple projects and 2) Delivered a mocking framework so we do not have to rely on external dependencies such as databases for our unit tests.

• General back-end programming with some webpage maintenance, webpage building, and database maintenance. Additionally, both basic and advanced tools of AutoCAD were used to test correctness of automated systems I maintained.
