1) Chess: My career began on the 64 squares. I've had the privilege of representing India in 22 countries, achieving a FIDE rating of 2197 and a Chess.com rating of 2703 (99.9th percentile). I've also received the AGM chess title. Through this journey, I’ve gained valuable business skills such as strategic thinking, problem-solving, patience, adaptability, concentration, planning, and analytical abilities. 2) Finance:- I’m especially fascinated by the fintech sector. I’ve always been passionate about investing in stocks, personal finance and learning how different financial entities - fintech companies, NBFCs, modern banks, nationalized banks, neo-banks, and cooperative credit societies—operate. 3) Business: For over three years, I've immersed myself in the business world out of pure curiosity and passion. I often watch business podcasts, study companies, explore business case studies, and observe friends' and family members' ventures to understand how they work in real life. I also launched Upskillchess to address a specific need in the chess world and gain first-hand business experience. 4) Travel: I’ve been fortunate to travel to 25 countries and explore their rich cultural histories. I enjoy observing how startups adapt their UI and services to meet local needs, and I’ve gained insights into how people in different countries approach life decisions Most importantly, it has given me so many friends and unique lifelong memories that I will forever cherish :) Chess tournaments last 9-12 days, and I typically extend my stay by a few days to explore the country. In most countries, I’ve spent around 10-15 days, while in a few like Belgium, Italy, Armenia, and Serbia, I stayed over a month. These experiences have opened my mind to new perspectives. Personal: In November 2023, I took on a 180-day challenge to transform physically and completed 162 days before an injury interrupted my progress. For those 162 days, I tracked calories and micronutrients of all the food I consumed, walked 10,000 steps daily, worked out or played badminton, and avoided direct sugar (only consuming natural sources). This challenge transformed my physical fitness and Lifestyle completely.
