I started with networking in 2001, continued with managed services (and later DevOps) in my first company, Infinium, in 2004. Started Centrix, a SaaS business (helpdesk) in the US in 2015. It flopped. Tried my hand again, in 2021, with Otium, pushing curator-vetted leisure time options. That one flopped, too. However, Infinium, is still on the market, providing cloud consulting and DevOps services. I've had my share of leading a software development team and am continuing helping startups as a Cloud Architect. Been doing it since 2004. I aim to sloooowly transition to software development. I am familiar with Python, Javascript and mostly write Go code nowadays. However, the bulk of my activity is still in DevOps for the time being.   • Centrix develped a helpdesk SaaS, written in Ruby on Rails with a MongoDB backend. It was a team effort of the founding team that also employed developers from India and Russia. Fully remote work, used an agile approach to development and, eating our own dogfood, we have been using that helpdesk solution ever since in two other companies. Centrix, the company, flopped, died right before go to market. Centrix, the product, became Cortex and continues to be used.
