I am building experience in venture style investment analysis with a primary focus on fintech, particularly regulated and infrastructure led businesses. Through self-initiated projects, I work on Investment Committee memos and sector specific due diligence to understand how venture investors evaluate companies where regulation, technology, and business models intersect including areas such as payments, RegTech, AML, and compliance infrastructure. My analysis follows a fundamentals- and compliance-first lens, focusing on product effectiveness, regulatory urgency, data and learning moats, and enterprise SaaS economics, rather than relying solely on surface-level growth metrics. Recently, I completed a VC style IC memo on a RegTech AML platform, embedding a RegTech specific diligence framework to evaluate regulatory risk, product defensibility, and switching costs. Alongside fintech, I am actively expanding my coverage to other technology sectors, applying the same structured investment framework to develop broader venture judgment over time.
