In my current role, I support and improve the systems that our applications run on. I work with different teams to make sure deployments, updates, and infrastructure changes happen smoothly and without downtime.
What I work on:
Manage and monitor application environments across backend, frontend, and database layers to keep services stable and responsive.
Set up and maintain deployment workflows using pipelines and Octopus, helping reduce manual steps and making releases more consistent.
Build and manage Docker-based workloads and run them on Kubernetes to improve scalability and resource usage.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, tests, and deployments, helping teams ship updates faster and with fewer errors.
Handle incidents across P1–P3 levels, identify the root cause, and work with teams to prevent similar issues from happening again.
Use Datadog to build dashboards and alerts that help track performance, find bottlenecks, and improve visibility across services.
Work closely with developers and the infrastructure team to refine processes, optimize cloud usage, and reduce unnecessary costs.
This role has helped me gain solid hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, monitoring tools, and day-to-day operational workflows. It has also strengthened my ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and improve the reliability of our services
