I've spent 18 years designing products across some of the most complex domains out there - from flight decks at Honeywell to insurance at ACKO, with a stop at Atlassian in between. That range has shaped how I think: systems first, people always. Today, I lead design at ACKO as VP & Head of Design, but the work I find most meaningful is building the conditions for great design to happen: the culture, the craft, and the people. I care deeply about the design discipline - not just doing it well, but helping it grow. I'm working on sharing more of what I've learned over the years, because I've quietly accumulated a few opinions worth putting out into the world.
