The $30k challenge:
→ Started a $30k challenge so it pushes me to build something people really want
→ Tried new things & failed
→ Realised just brand decks don't make a lot of impact
→ Sought to create real impact, and was led to a ux design career
Learnings:
→ You can leapfrog in your job by observing & learning from the masters themselves
→ Anything that doesn't solve real problems is not sustainable
→ Seek truth and if you happen to fail, just say "I failed and I'm moving on to the next thing"

→ Worked with a gen Z streetwear brand that says: "dare to be different"
→ The client said they chose me out of 10-20+ people who pitched to them because of the way I spoke and because I sent them a professional project proposal
A fictional project:
→ Created brand identity for an organic period care brand
The end:
→ Paused my career for a while for some educational stuff (but then ended up dropping out)
Learnings:
→ Creating appealing brand strategies & identities
→ Communicating with clients
→ Letting go of people when they aren't aligned (parted ways with co-founders)
→ You stop growing when you stop learning
