The fund, Opportunity Lógica II, began with an investment of US$10,000 in 1986 and had grown to US$6,500,000 by December of 2017, a decidedly unprecedented performance.
• Reporting to the CEO, I oversaw all IT projects, including budgeting, software development and cybersecurity. Other tasks included negotiating contracts with global vendors, researching new technologies and industry trends, maintaining internal network security according to designated policies and procedures. I developed and implemented a company-wide security policy, provided IT and operations consulting for several projects designed by the parent company, tested and provided maintenance for our Business Continuity Program, and hired and coached staff, all the while making sure we provided excellent customer satisfaction on a 24/7 basis.

• CETUC is responsible for the emphasis on Telecommunications in the Undergraduate Course in Electrical Engineering and for the areas related to Telecommunications in the Post-Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (Master's and Doctorate). In addition, CETUC develops research and projects in the telecommunications area and offers various professional extension courses.
• Since 2008, CETUC professors have been part of the National Institute of Technology in Wireless Communications and Quantum Information and have led the INCT of Semiconductor Nano Dispositives as well as integrating and leading Commissions and Study Groups of ANATEL (Telecommunications Government Regulation Agency), the Ministry of Communications, the International Union of Telecommunications (ITU) and the International Union of Radio Science (URSI).
• Since 2014, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the world's largest existing professional association, is chaired by a CETUC professor.
• I was granted a scholarship from Telebrás (National Telecommunications Agency) that supported CETUC and most of our researches and labs at the time.
• I was in charge of CETUC's lab computer and network infrastructure that comprised more than 80 workstations, servers and hundreds of others electronic equipments. I also worked alongside the lab researchers in running simulations related to radio localization, adaptive antennas and propagation models in its hardware.
