Charles is a technology leader, with over a decade of experience building products in various environments, ranging from FDA-regulated corporations to co-founding an early stage venture backed business. The diversity in the products he built gave him in depth expertise on the entire stack of software engineering, data-science and machine learning, compliance and data-privacy, as well as organizational development and leadership. He has grown and lead engineering and data-science teams, in house or outsourced, in both office and remote-first environments. Having co-founded a business, he has been actively involved in fundraising from both venture capitals and public funds. He has board experience, advises other early stage founders and works regularly with other C-level executives. Charles is also a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) advocate, pushing to apply more inclusive practices in our industry, being involved in projects to help creating equity for underrepresented groups in tech, and offers free mentoring to help promote new diverse leaders in tech. He is now focusing exclusively on organizations having a social, humanitarian or environmental driven mission.
