I am an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and currently serving as Dean, International Relations at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, with a focus on microsystems/MEMS, manufacturing engineering and nanotechnology. Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur wherein I teach Manufacturing courses (Advanced Manufacturing, MEMS and Microsystems Technology, Manufacturing Processes etc.).
My research interest is to explore innovative and inexpensive fabrication methods for microsystems for wide range of applications. Working in the interdisciplinary area, I have cultivated some basic understanding about the microsystems fabrication, nano-scale characterization techniques and most important; will to learn from other disciplines.

I have also hands-on experience with soft lithography as well as various characterization equipments viz., SEM, UV Visible spectroscopy etc.
