When I began my career, I was full of energy and determined to change how people felt about recruiters. But after meeting hundreds of product designers, managers, researchers, and engineers, I realised negative perception wasn’t the issue—the system that earned us that reputation was. That’s why now, six years later, I’ve started BossHired: a hiring consultancy dead-set on replacing that system with a more efficient, human, and product-led approach. Being product-led means starting with a team’s pain points and reasons for hiring and focusing on the people behind the profiles: understanding not just what they can do but how they fit into a team’s unique culture and needs. I’m focused on building genuine connections between hiring managers and candidates, without the layers of transactional recruiters and software trying to guess what makes someone a good fit. My mission with BossHired is to ensure that every hire feels like a natural fit for talented, happy teams—whether you’re using us alongside an internal team, expanding your network beyond internal referrals, or seeking results without the overhead. Oh, and—dare I say it—making looking for talent or work enjoyable and rewarding.

Our Founder has spent the last 8 years specialising in working closely with Founders and early-stage hiring managers, building teams from 1-30. We’ve coined the term 'product-led' hiring, which involves taking experiences from both sides of the hiring process to help product development and design teams of all sizes find their perfect fit. Part of the secret sauce is our deep screening method and no-nonsense role descriptions that swap buzzwords for real talk, and tickbox skill lists for meaningful matches that go beyond experience history and availability.
And we’re not just for active hires. One of our driving beliefs is that whether you’re expanding with a new role or filling an existing one after a departure, finding the right person to come in, hit the ground running, and grow with your existing team should be a breeze, not a ballache.
