About

My name is Liam Gretton. Father. Veteran. Estate Agent. Seller of homes, closer of deals, challenger of “how it’s always been done.” And I will have my completion date… in this life or the next. (Preferably this life) Right, now I’ve got my Gladiator moment out of the way. I’m a Private Client Estate Agent and Certified Advanced Negotiator, which basically means I get paid to keep my cool while everyone else panics. Negotiation gives me the same type of rush I once felt on the battlefield... in simple terms, being shot at. I've found that the art of negotiation is that every move, every counter, every silence has intent, the difference is, I already know my next three moves. After eight years in the Infantry, digging holes to live in, filling them in, and then digging them again for good measure. I swapped mud in my rations for viewings and valuations. Since then, I’ve been building what Forbes might one day call “a business empire” starting with a bespoke agency for clients who want more than ordinary. I’ve been featured in UK and international media for my insights into estate agency, property and negotiation which is great recognition. However recognition isn’t the goal... Results are. And my biggest wins will always be the words my clients say about me. Mrs Collins said I’m “Stella Artois — reassuringly expensive.” Mr Harper said, “I don’t like estate agents… but I like Liam.” And Miss Knight called me “Wirral’s answer to Phil Spencer.” I’ll happily frame all three. When I’m not negotiating, you’ll find me in my Defender, listening to That Peter Crouch Podcast, or following Tranmere Rovers, because loyalty counts, even when it hurts.
