As part of the Business Systems Architecture (BSA) team, improved and added features to internal business tooling. Used Temporal Workflows to co-ordinate org migration across regional DCs.
As part of the Intern Hackathon Project, developed an Apple Watch app to integrate with the SafetyCulture and SHEQSY platforms. This had never been attempted at SafetyCulture before, and we were successful in implementing the following features:
Rapid shift sign-on/sign-off and location tracking for lone workers conducting safety operations
Duress panic button that raises an alert with the user's current location and time
Creation of issues and to-do actions with speech-to-text with autofilled parameters from ChatGPT
Technologies: React, TypeScript, Go, gRPC, ProtoBuf, Swift, PostgreSQL

Leader of a team working on a synthetic biology project to improve the xylose uptake of genetically engineered E. coli bacteria. Worked alongside researchers from HydGene Renewables to compete and win a Gold Medal at the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition.
