• Lead Data strategy design and implementation in India for Barclays UK and US business for IFRS9 data and model implementation.
• It was a 2 years project implementing strategy and models for 26 portfolios across Retail, IB and CB.
• Role required me to
• Work with Technology, portfolio leads, data team, modelling leads, implementation leads and Reporting director to work on the standard approach for Design, build and implementation of data strategy while meeting the project deadlines.
• Key Hits:
• The standardized design approach and reusable solution helped reduce the implementation time of each next portfolio by 50%
• Modelling team and Group risk got data in stream sets and Hadoop which reduced cycle time by 80%
• Not a single portfolio missed the delivery deadline
• The implementation model was very successful and was later referred to in production implementation.
