Johannes Betz — CEO
Hi, I am Johannes! I am an assistant professor at TUM where i am leading the Autonomous Vehicles Systems (AVS) Lab. My group is interested in the algorithmic foundations of robot motion planning, control, and learning. The research of the AVS lab is motivated by the aim of creating the next generation of intelligent autonomous vehicles. These vehicles will be able to interact with each other, including humans, while acting safely, efficiently, and with high performance. Our vision is to enable safe and trustworthy autonomy for a broad range of high-integrity robotic applications. We achieve this by designing adaptive dynamic path planning and control algorithms, developing decision-makers that can work under uncertainty in multi-agent environments, and validating the algorithms on real-world robotic systems. Feel free to reach out if you want to research together and collaborate on projects!
