My journey’s been anything but linear. 1/ Worked with an Investment Bank for 5+ years (ops). 2/ (a) Came across standup comedy on the side during the pandemic (zoom mics). Tested material at open mics and managed a comedy club based out of my hometown, Dehradun. (b) From open mics where our troupe performed for one polite stranger (who even clapped twice) to having catered to an audience of 100+ with no known names in the lineup, saw it all. (c) The coolest thing though has to be managing a roadshow gig for a political entity (which was exactly as chaotic as it sounds). 3/ Two-plus years with early-stage startups (Ed, Consumer Tech space). 4/ These days, I write for people who build, invest, or simply wish to express themselves better online.
