About

I've built geospatial intelligence systems that help organizations understand and price climate risk. For over 20 years, I've worked at the intersection of defense, climate tech, insurtech, and disaster response, leveraging EO/satellite data, geospatial analytics, and machine learning to develop products that scale. I've led teams at Verisk, built data infrastructure for precision agriculture companies processing billions of records, and advised startups navigating business spaces and technical strategy. My expertise spans the full business stack: GeoAI, remote sensing, geospatial databases, product strategy, and the gnarly work of translating complex geospatial data into decision frameworks that matter. I've architected cloud-based platforms, automated drone-to-server processing pipelines, and built predictive models for everything from crop yield to catastrophe risk. I serve as a Councilor for the American Geographical Society and chair their Geography 2050 Symposium, focused on GeoAI and how the geographic community addresses the next 25 years of climate adaptation, spatial technology, and geographic literacy. I'm also an adjunct lecturer at Northeastern, teaching remote sensing and GeoAI, and a Climatebase Fellow working with climate-focused companies on strategy and execution. Right now, I'm focused on helping organizations that take climate risk seriously. Whether that's understanding exposure, building resilience products, or making better decisions with geospatial data. I work with companies that need someone who can bridge technical depth with strategic clarity, and who doesn't waste time on performative sustainability theater. I'm based in the Boston area and split time between NYC and SF. If you're building something real in climate, insurtech, or geospatial tech and need someone who can architect solutions, lead product, or tell you what's actually broken, let's talk.
