Nilabhro lives life on three terms “Code, Coffee and Cricket”. Currently working at Google as a Software Engineer - 2 in Smart Alerting team which is a part of Search Ads org where I deal with ML models for quick alerting of Ads anomalies to onboarded teams Past Life - I was a Software Engineer at Amazon where I worked with the Asin importer team (part of CMT systems) organisation. During my tenure of 1.5 years at Amazon, I became the SME for one critical system of our team which was responsible for onboarding new competitors into the CMT stream. I had collaborated with the Amazon Now team to onboard quick commerce competitors and ensured end to end competitive pricing for Amazon Now ASINs. This initiative was made easier after I had led a project for automation of new merchant onboarding saving 2-3 days of SDE time. For this initiative, I had received multiple rewards in the CMT R&R Ceremony Worked as a Cloud Engineer at a US based startup named BlueVector AI for 7 months prior to my stint at Amazon, it provided me ample opportunities to work with latest cutting edge technologies like Terraform, Cloud Run, SQL, JS , Jinja and Python. I have interned at Amazon from June - August 2022 and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I pushed my entire internship project (Pathfinder Forward and Pathfinder Reverse) into production and it reaped good numbers in terms of reducing Benchmarking time by ~60% and ensured seamless user experience for PD audits with very less chances of manual errors. I received a PPO (full time) from Amazon post completion of my internship. Academics - I completed my B.Tech degree of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University with a “First Class Distinction” and prior to this I had scores of 95%(+) in my Std 10th and 12th boards Extra Curricular- Apart from acads, I've been a professional cricket player with 4 years of current experience of playing 1st division cricket in my state. As far as college sports is concerned, I've represented my University cricket team in East Zone Inter-Univ tournaments and Intra Bengal Inter-univ tournaments. At the age of 15, I had represented Bengal under-16 team in crucial tournaments like Vijay Merchant Trophy and Bengal-Bangladesh International Series which led to my selection in Indian Junior Premier League held in Dubai,2017. If you don’t find me on my lappy probably screaming on it or fixing a bug , you’ll find me sweating out in the cricket field putting my heart out to win games.
