Gogoro

Manager - Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Nov 2024 – Mar 2026 · 1 yr 4 mos · Gurugram, Haryana, India · On-site

  • Gogoro was a first in multiple sense - my first global company, my first listed company, and my first experience operating at the true intersection of corporate strategy and execution. I was brought in to lead Business Development & Strategic Partnerships for Gogoro's India business during a crucial pivot - a high-stakes assignment with dual reporting into the India CFO & Director and the HQ Director. That cross-functional accountability across geographies and leadership levels was new territory, and it fundamentally changed how I think about ownership. My mandate spanned four dimensions: MaaS & BaaS business development, infrastructure and key account management across government and corporate, OEM partnerships and vehicle integration, and contract management. But beyond the job description, what this role gave me was program management and hands on operations experience I wass not a master of before. Piloting a global brand's India strategy from the inside - navigating both local complexity and global expectations - is an experience that's hard to replicate anywhere else.

Race energy

Lead-Business Development & Partnerships

Aug 2023 – Nov 2024 · 1 yr 3 mos · Hyderabad, Telangana, India · On-site

  • Race Energy brought me in at a product launch moment - right in the middle of a critical business rollout. And over the next 16 months, it became one of the most growth-dense chapters of my career.
  • I started as Sr. Account Manager, owning key B2B accounts end-to-end and building strategic partnerships across three dimensions: business development, EV infrastructure tie-ups, and financing partnerships to make EV 3W adoption more accessible. I did also pioneered the dealership development building the distribution backbone for new products entering the market.
  • Within 9 months, I was promoted to Lead Business Development & Partnerships - reporting directly into the CEO & Founder. The scope expanded significantly from there. I stepped into international key account management, drove B2G partnerships at a PAN India level, and led B2B and B2C growth strategies simultaneously. Every conversation had stakes, and every commitment had to be delivered.
  • This role gave me two things I carry forward: the ability to operate at a strategic level while staying close enough to the ground to move fast - and my first real taste of international sales and government partnerships at scale.

Blive - home of evs

Key Account Manager

Mar 2023 – Jul 2023 · 4 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • A short & Experimental stint of launching couple of programs : I stepped into a category that was still finding its feet in India - Electric Vehicles. And I was owning GTM for one of the most exciting experimental mandates I could ask for: driving Green Hospitality and Green Corporate programs as an Individual Contributor KAM. Blive wasn't a single-product company. It was an ecosystem platform. Both programs were zero to one- no proven playbook, no existing market. I was figuring out the customer, the pitch, the partnerships, and the product-market fit simultaneously. That kind of ownership early in a career changes how you think about building. The product canvas was unlike anything else in the market. I wasn't selling one thing - I was stitching together an entire EV solution: electric cycles to e-buses, golf karts, chargers, infrastructure, insurance, and loan & lease facilitation, all bundled into a single proposition.
  • On the Green Hospitality side, I deployed EV's and EV Infra across premier hospitality chains. On the Green Corporate side, I built lease-to-own EV programs for corporates to solve last-mile employee mobility sustainably. This wasn't a classroom introduction to EVs. It was full immersion into an industry that was just finding its footing in India.

Startupshive

Head of Business Development (Founding Member)

Jun 2020 – Feb 2023 · 2 yrs 8 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Every career begins somewhere. Mine began here - not as an employee, but as a builder. Joining as a Founding Member meant building from zero -no playbook, no shortcuts. I led Business Development & Partnerships and spent my time doing one thing most early professionals rarely get to do: building a real network Angel Investor and VC network from scratch. What made this chapter defining was the sheer range of it. Built a team of 15 folks from ground up & worked closely with 250+ startups on their 0 to1 investment journeys - helping founders sharpen their pitch, their positioning, and their story. Some of these went all the way to Shark Tank India. Industry after industry walked through our doors. Tech, consumer, deep-tech, D2C - each with its own dynamics, its own language, its own risk. I left with something no MBA gives you: a holistic, ground-level view of how the most innovative ideas in India were being built and funded.
