An IIM Calcutta alumnus with experience spanning corporate finance, change management, consulting, and entrepreneurship. I began my career with Unilever’s Corporate Finance division, where I worked on exception analysis across key financial metrics and collaborated with global teams to improve governance, reporting, and decision-support tools. I later worked with Nomura’s Change Management team, driving UAT strategy, stakeholder reporting, and control testing across global KYC and client onboarding functions. Today, I lead Arwin Exports (P) Ltd., our family-run leather manufacturing and export business, focused on scaling global operations, strengthening financial processes, and building long-term client relationships across Europe and Asia. Alongside this, I co-founded Mikata Consulting LLP, a boutique consulting and capability-building platform. At Mikata, our team comprising alumni and professionals from organizations such as BCG, Nomura, Disney, EY, and Unilever, works with colleges, universities, and organizations to: • bridge the gap between industry expectations and academic or functional preparation • design industry exposure and placement-readiness programs • deliver role-aligned bootcamps across finance, marketing, consulting, HR and general management • support institutions and teams through structured thinking, case-based problem solving, and real-business exposure Our work spans short bootcamps, accelerators, and customized institutional engagements, designed to complement existing academic and organizational frameworks rather than replace them. Passionate about education and industry–academia alignment, I serve as a Visiting Professor at Techno India University and teach Finance to the MBA batch at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. I mentor 400+ management students and regularly conduct sessions on strategy, finance, and competitive examinations. Driven by curiosity and impact, I enjoy working at the intersection of business strategy, people development, and real-world problem-solving to create practical, measurable outcomes.
