• We never figured out the margin/volume/quality equation for our marketplace. Landed the plane safely by sorting out asset liquidation across the country, negotiating settlements, and learning accounting to prepare financials that passed three independent audits by PwC.

• Built an integrated exchange and affiliate payment/logistics network that connected farmers in the Northern and Brong Ahafo regions to large buyers in the South. Executed 16,000 trades by moving 5,000 tons of corn, soya, and groundnuts and $1M cash through 100 affiliates.

• I developed a Fiji/ImageJ plugin in Java to quickly and efficiently visualize very large stitched images (on the order of 10s of GB), such as those acquired in optical microscopy. My work implements a novel method of lazy image stitching as well as lazy multiresolution image loading to achieve better memory scalability over currently available tools, as well as heavy multithreaded optimization to achieve real-time visualization of data. The plugin is slated to be released by the NIST Information Technology Laboratory.
