• In December 2014 I was offered a more senior position by Orbium in recognition for the role I played in BPO in Lugano.
• I continued the Stream Lead for Cash Operations role I started in 2014, but with added responsibility and involvement in management and training.
• This involved a high degree of client interaction and diversity of projects, at times working for 5 or 6 high profile Swiss and Luxembourgish banks at the same time.
• After 4 years in Switzerland, in December 2016 I decided it was time to move back to the UK and use the knowledge I gained in Switzerland on home ground. I immediately went to work for a branch of a large German bank in London and am enjoying more of a business analyst role as opposed to the technical role I experienced at the BPO.

• After joining Orbium in September 2012 I qualified as an Avaloq Certified Professional. Since then I have moved from Zurich to London to Warsaw and finally Lugano. I have worked on various modules including training, reporting, output management, portfolio management, customer relation management and more recently cash operations.
• Since the beginning of 2014 I have been working on Cash Operations, I took over the role of Stream Lead on an in-progress Avaloq Implementation for a large German bank which involves heavy client interaction and managing all aspects of analysis and design, development, implementation and release. It has proved to be an interesting subject, especially since I had no experience or understanding of COP before. Ideally I would like to add to my existing knowledge to this area so that I could become an SME in COP, although if other opportunities within Avaloq arise especially in the UK, I might move topic to be closer to home.
• I worked on the Portfolio Management team in Lugano for a full year in 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the work and the team environment. The role was challenging but very rewarding and the experience I received with the various modules within Portfolio Management was addictive. The role focused heavily on client interaction, development and management, all of which I enjoyed.
• One of the most notable projects I worked on was the Investment Proposition and Asset Statements for a large scale American bank. These were several reports that were created and customised to meet the clients requirements all pieced together to form one single reference for the end user to base how well their investments are doing. This involved working directly with the client throughout development to produce a very important document. As of 2014 this is the main port of reference for end of month performance reports.

• Technical Consultant role working on several projects ranging from consulting, development, programming, database administration and training, working with international clients ranging from Poland to South Africa. Most recent projects involved upgrading banking systems, interfacing between several legacy systems and performing data migration.
• Variety of consultancy work provided an overall knowledge of computing systems and has given me experience working in several banking environments.
• Role included client engagement, software consultancy, systems integration, systems troubleshooting, programming, product development, solutions design and IT support & maintenance.

• An onsite project which required the installation and configuration of a new financial trading system, involved Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Misys OpicsPlus 3.0 software, as well as data transformation and migration and training of banks technical resources.
• Installing the first implementation of Misys OpicsPlus 3.0 software, solving and reporting any unexpected behaviour.
• Stored Procedures were created and used in order to manipulate data extracted from source database so that it could be integrated with the new systems database structure.
• Applying patches and software updates to the system and testing added functionality.
• Responsible for aiding and training technical resources to operate the system as well as creating manuals and user guides for some of the more complex applications.
