About

Matthew Potter is an American Christian entrepreneur and the founder of Pray.com, the world’s #1 app for daily prayer and faith-based media content. Matthew serves as the president of the PRAY Foundation. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Potter has started multiple ventures including HomeStack, America’s largest white-label real estate app provider. Matthew grew up in Southern California and went to Boise State University. While in college Matthew started Homestack, serving as its Founder & CEO for nearly a decade. Matthew along with co-founder William Grewal pioneered the white label real estate application market from Los Angeles through a software as a service business model that offered mobile technology to all the major real estate brands around the country. Homestack has built and deployed over 6,000 applications in both Apple and Google app stores and provides software to the largest real estate companies in the United States. In 2016, Matthew decided to appoint William Grewal as CEO and co-found Pray.com with Steve Gatena, Mike Lynn and Ryan Beck. Pray.com went on to become the highest grossing religious app in history, the first for profit company to lead the National Day of Prayer with the President of the United States, and the only mobile app to help the Vatican raise money to support refugees from war-torn countries. Pray.com has also been named one of Los Angeles’ Best Workplaces and reaches more than 10 Million people around the world. Matt has led through various roles at Pray.com including head of product, head of growth, head of design, and head of business development. He currently serves as President of the Pray Foundation and spends his time helping churches, ministries, and universities utilize the pray.com platform. In addition to working on his businesses, Mr. Potter sits on the board of trustees for Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida. Matthew believes that merging your passion with your skill while helping others, gives you the ability to leave a lasting legacy.
