I'm an Engineering Manager who builds cloud platforms and teams from scratch. I have 12 years of experience, currently at RateGain leading a team of 7 engineers working on hotel pricing and distribution systems. The work I'm most proud of: In 2022, I built RateHub - a pricing platform - completely from zero. No team, no code, just a problem to solve. I recruited 4 engineers, we designed and built the system, and today it handles 100M+ requests daily, scaled to 10X, while saving us 200k EUR annually. I love the 0-to-1 phase - the messy part where you're figuring out what to build and who to hire. But I also enjoy the scaling phase - making things faster, more reliable, and ready for growth. Recently, I've been exploring how GenAI can enhance the productivity of engineering teams by integrating tools like GitHub Copilot and developing conversational AI features for our products.
