About

My therapeutic work is shaped by sustained engagement with complexity - psychological, cultural and relational, over many years. Before training as a therapist, I worked for over a decade in high-functioning professional environments in financial services and later founded and led an international education charity focused on empowering young women in East Africa. I trained in Psychosynthesis psychology at postgraduate level, completing a Master’s degree with distinction and continuing advanced psychotherapy training. My academic work includes an award-winning thesis exploring how Psychosynthesis can provide a coherent psychological and ethical framework for integrating challenging psychedelic experiences. My therapeutic orientation draws on Psychosynthesis psychology and long-term engagement with contemplative and depth-oriented traditions. I approach these not as belief systems, but as ways of understanding how consciousness develops, destabilises, and gradually integrates over time. Psychedelic experiences are understood within this wider context, meaningful for some, at certain moments, but never a substitute for ongoing integration, relational work, and ethical discernment. Psychosynthesis now forms the core of my clinical work, particularly its emphasis on integration, self-leadership, and the development of the Will. Therapy, as I understand it, is not about fixing what is broken, but about creating the conditions in which constrained parts of the psyche can reorganise so that life can be lived with greater responsibility, coherence and choice.

Psychosynthesis Therapist (MBACP) - Private Practise

Oct 2020Present · 5 yrs 7 mos · Greater London, England, United Kingdom · Hybrid

  • I work as a Psychosynthesis therapist with adults navigating inner conflict, burnout, and periods of psychological, spiritual, or existential intensity. My practice is particularly oriented toward integration after overwhelming or destabilising experiences, where meaning, agency, and self-leadership need to be re-established gradually rather than pushed.
  • My approach is relational, paced, and ethically contained, with attention to nervous system regulation, embodiment, and how inner change translates into lived relationships and decisions. I prioritise sustainability over speed, and responsibility over performance.
  • I work in person in London and online.
