Silvio Savarese is an Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist at Salesforce Research and Adjunct Faculty at Stanford University. Previously, he was a tenured Associate Professor at Stanford, where he was appointed the inaugural Mindtree Faculty Scholar and served as Director of the SAIL-Toyota Center for AI Research (2016–2018). He has published more than 400 scientific articles in top-tier journals and conferences. He was Program Chair of the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) in 2020 and an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (PAMI) from 2016-2019.
