• Led and drove a team of 3 on a successful integration and development of a new Reserving Calculation Engine (RCE). Ensured a seamless transition from development to live production while maintaining SOX readiness. Conducted comprehensive assessments, planning, and communication to management. Documented all business processes, technical specifications, and relevant domain knowledge.
• HARP (Hamilton Analytics & Risk Platform) Engineering Team:
• Worked with the HARP engineering team, playing a key role in developing the in-house risk platform, recognised as a major differentiator by AM Best. Contributed to migrating the platform from Docker Swarm to Openshift (Kubernetes). Rebuilt a legacy "Import Service" as a Python service deployed on Kubernetes, enhancing platform efficiency. Worked directly with users in Bermuda to gather requirements and implemented features, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Collaboration with Pricing Actuary Team:
• Partnered with the pricing actuary team and underwriters for a 3-month project, successfully accessing and deploying a new third-party software for "simple risk" pricing. Coordinated between external developers, engineering, and business users to ensure seamless integration and meet stakeholder requirements.
