• I am currently working on the Cisco Meraki-Catalyst 9k Data Modeling Solution to support the Layer2 domain. Here are some of the key facts about my current and past work:
• Lead for Meraki Network Programmability for Catalyst 9k for several releases and have successfully delivered 30+ complex and critical Features with 12 diverse Engineers across 3 cross-functional software teams.
• Demonstrated track record of managing all software aspects of the Network Programmability and Network Stack development including requirement gathering, writing software specs, design discussions, Coding, Project management, and PR Review.
• Monitored the Programmability development process to identify the areas of improvement after which I gave the presentation to the team SVP. Help Implement the changes that helped cut down the development time for one XPath to 50%.
• Trained and Mentored teams in India/US and Canada to drive the forwarding features for Cisco's sustenance releases and front-end customer escalations.
• Led all aspects of NextGen Switching feature “Application Based PBR” leveraging Thousand Eyes application for catalyst 9k with a team of 3 engineers to successfully design and deliver a customer-centric critical feature.
• Worked on developing and maintaining several forwarding features for Cisco's multi-billion Cat9k products.
• Release lead for 3 major switching releases from the services side, collaborated with the development, program management, and testing team to identify collateral and release the software on time.
• Drove 50+ SDA/L3 customer issues to resolution while working with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Delivered the inactivity timer feature on SDA which keeps the active hosts in the database and removes traffic loss to them while removing the ones that are inactive saving space.

• Implemented a punt/inject serviceability tool to automate a manual log collection process that cuts down the troubleshooting workflow to more than 70 % in the customer environment. Won the best tool award for this.
• Delivered GRE Tunnel feature for catalyst 3850 Cisco Switch. Responsibilities include defining, designing, and coding the feature, AUT (Automating the Unit test cases) and documenting the same in a well-written Software Functional Specification.
• Delivered IPv6 FHS, HSRP, VRRP, RPF, WCCP, and PBR, features on catalyst 3850 with utmost quality and on time generating 4B revenues from 100+ customers using the technology.

• Created, enhanced and maintained, 4500 Switching Series Software/Regression Tools using Perl
• Designed L2, L3 and security network test scripts in Perl to support regression infrastructure. The scripts significantly improved the build breakage rate.
• Implemented an in-house productivity tool using Perl/Python to add to the group's productivity. Also gave a TOI to the wider group on the tool usage and collaborated with developers to ensure that the tool is adopted successfully.
• Carried out multiple code syncing (using ClearCase) among different software branches and built software images for CAT 4500 series of switches.
• Implemented strategies to improve overall product quality by performing meaningful regression tests on existing features and products.

• Tested the Link feature of NebuAd Network Appliance. Thorough functional testing of the link using various traffic generators and different test setup.
• Performance and system testing using Spirent Test center, Avalanche and IXIA Ixload.
• Created link test plan for systematic testing and followed industry standards.
• SNMP Testing of the NebuAd network device.
• Involved in testing the Asymmetric Routing on NebuAd Appliance and its implementation.
• Closely worked with the development team at NebuAd.
