My journey began as an IT Manager with the Government of Bihar, where I worked within public sector technology and governance systems. This experience helped me understand how institutional data, verification, and accountability determine whether development programs succeed or fail. While working within these systems, I observed a critical gap — millions of farmers and livestock owners remain poorly identified within formal institutional frameworks. Without credible identity and verification, farmers struggle to access credit, insurance, markets, and government support. To work closer to the grassroots, I founded NASP Farmer Producer Company Limited, a farmer-owned institution focused on collective agriculture, professional governance, and improved value realization for small producers. Alongside institution building, I worked on agricultural innovation and developed a patented value-added chana product called “NITI CHANA”, reinforcing the idea that farmers must move beyond raw commodity markets toward branded and value-added agriculture. Building on these experiences, I launched GAON NASP, a rural systems startup designed to build farmer and livestock identity infrastructure through Cattle KYC, verified rural data systems, and Integrated Village Agriculture Service & Value Addition Centres. Through these village-level systems, GAON NASP aims to create trust bridges between farmers and institutions such as NABARD, banks, CSR foundations, and government programs. I believe rural India does not lack effort or entrepreneurship. The real challenge lies in weak systems of identity, verification, and institutional trust. Villages do not need charity. They need systems that work.
