Deployment Strategist (Business Development and Product Management) - Palantir Japan

Jun 2018Mar 2024 · 5 yrs 9 mos · Tokyo, Japan

  • Leading new partnership development and growth in Palantir Japan across industries including Logistics, Auto-Manufacturing, Energy, and Utilities.
  • Working with our customers and partners to create effective strategies for adopting Palantir's products and generating growth. Within our product suite, I specialised in combining generative AI and ML models with process mining and user-friendly web applications to help our clients automate and optimise their operations.
  • As a deployment strategist for Palantir technologies Ive helped build end to end data workflows and strategies with clients from diverse industries. The common themes are having huge, distributed data from multiple sources, with complex processing and privacy requirements. I work directly with clients to get a deep understanding of their problems and to build solutions based on Palantir’s technology products, either using existing tools or working with our engineers to create bespoke offerings.
  • In my role at Palantir I have helped multiple multiple-billion dollar/euro/pound/yen budget organisations to gain transparency over their data and make business decisions with real impact (i.e. multi-million pound savings and increased operational efficiency).

Pricing Analyst

May 2014Dec 2015 · 1 yr 7 mos · London, United Kingdom

  • Holding the main responsibility for pricing analysis within the UK and Europe, I used statistical techniques and data management skills to acquire and analyse the right data to optimise pricing across a huge catalogue of published titles.
  • To find the right prices, I processed large volumes of historical and market data to create predictive models and ran experiments to test the effectiveness of new pricing strategies using limited subsets of titles.
  • It was also my responsibility to present the results of these analyses in the form of insights and recommendations that led to business decisions around pricing and eBook strategy.
  • In addition to presenting my findings to senior executive groups within the company, I created and distributed tools that allowed end users within the business (e.g. members of the digital sales team) to quickly generate reports and visualisations using sales and pricing data for individual titles or sets of titles.
