About

I lead a team of data engineers at a healthcare startup that strives to drive revenue by prioritizing claims that are most likely to be overturned as well as collections. We build and maintain the pipelines that produce and deliver this information to our customers daily. Previously, I led a team of research data consultants and programmers at a large healthcare system that connects investigators with information from our electronic health record and other clinical systems to enable population health, real-world evidence, and other clinical research. In addition, I championed planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure to improve the speed and quality of data for research. Expert programmer in Java and proficient programmer in Python and R. Passionate about reproducibility, automated tests, code reviews, and version control.
